Rick Marotta has cultivated a body of work that spans musical movements on both coasts and decades of hits with artists like James Taylor, Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Carly Simon, Paul Simon, Waylon Jennings, The Jacksons, Jim Croce, and Warren Zevon. His credits as a composer include scores for hit TV sitcoms, episodic dramas, and feature films, and his influence on the way we hear music today is practically immeasurable. On top of all that, he's a great guy with a wealth of stories, and he tells us some of them on this episode (which will be the first of many).
