Ekoa Magic - Today's guest is Joe Luttwak CEO of Lingrove and Black Bird Guitars. Joe's first company Blackbird Guitars was a proving ground for a new construction material. The material Joe and his team created is called Ekoa. Ekoa is essentially a bio-composite consisting of Flax fibers and resins.
The strength of Ekoa exceeds that of steel, yet it's lighter than carbon-fiber. After guitars, Joe created Lingrove a company that's partnering with manufacturers to develop light weight, carbon sequestering products that will ease our burden on the planet, yet also look incredible. |
