Dollar Ball - Jeff Pearlman wrote a fantastic book called, Football for a Buck: The Crazy rise and Crazier Demise of the USFL. Jeff has written a variety of books on sporting topics, a biography of the Showtime Lakers, a biography of Brett Favre called Gunslinger. Jeff has spent his professional life gather and writing incredible stories for sports aficionados.
Co-Hosting with Pete today is Friday's guest Nick Davis who just completed a biography of Boston Redsox Hall of Famer Ted Williams. The two compare notes on how they created their projects. Jeff tells LOTS of wonderful USFL stories. Of course, no USFL book is complete without a healthy dose of Donald Trump head-shaking tales.
