Emotional History - Today's episode features best-selling author Lynn Vincent who co-authored Indianapolis: The True Story of the Worst Sea Disaster in U.S. Naval History and the Fifty-Year Fight to Exonerate an Innocent Man with Sara Vladic.
This show is co-hosted by Pete A Turner and best-selling author of Echo In Ramadi, Scott Huesing. Pete was able to grab Scott and Lynn at a signing event in Oceanside Ca.
The story of the USS Indianapolis is unbelievable. The ship that dropped off the atomic bomb in WWII was sunk a few days later without anyone knowing it was gone. 4 days and 5 nights the remaining 320 men from nearly 1000 on board were rescued from the Pacific. Even as the rescue was taking place Indianapolis' crew members were dying. 316 men survived the ordeal. Lynn and Sara's book gets into detail like no previous book.
