Rob Ball - Rob Neyer returns for another visit. This time, he's promoting his new book Power Ball: Anatomy of a Modern Baseball Game The book will release OCT 9th (2018).
In the episode, Rob talks about the structure of his new book, how he picks the essays that he weaves throughout and decides what's better, the new game or the old. Joining Pete today as a co-host is author Jim DeFelice. Jim's current book is called West Like Lightning and it chronicles the history and context of the Pony Express--which coincidentally, crosses paths with Rob's book several times.
